Field Representative / Route Courier

Fruit Growers Laboratory, Inc. (FGL) is seeking a Full-Time Field Representative / Route Courier for our Chico, California laboratory location.

Position Summary

This position is primarily field-based and involves driving throughout assigned routes to collect environmental water samples and agricultural samples for laboratory testing. In addition to field responsibilities, the successful candidate will be cross-trained in other areas of daily laboratory operations, including sample receiving, shipping, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive assigned routes to collect and transport environmental and agricultural samples.

• Ensure proper handling, documentation, and timely delivery of samples.

• Assist with sample receiving and shipping operations.

• Provide excellent customer service to clients.

• Support daily laboratory operations as needed.

• Maintain compliance with company policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to multitask and think critically in a fast-paced environment.

• Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical activities.

• Eagerness to learn and contribute as part of a team.

• Schedule flexibility to meet time-sensitive deadlines.

Compensation

Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
